ר' אלעזר בן יהודה

Rabbi Elazar ben Yehuda [wrote the genealogy [in Seder HaDoros after Rabbi Yochanan ben Zakkai] mentioned in the first chapter of Zevachim, Mishnah 1, and in Oholot, chapter 3, Mishnah 5. It is possible that he is the individual from Beretutha mentioned above (see the genealogy there). And regarding Rabbi Yosi, son of Rabbi Yehuda, it appears that he was a colleague of Rabbi; therefore, he is not the individual from Beretutha mentioned above, who was the teacher of Rabbi Shimon, the father of Rabbi.
