שנת א׳
Year 1
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Adam was created on the sixth day, and from him all of humanity descends.
The Garden of Eden was planted, and Adam was placed there to tend it. He named all the creatures.
Eve was created from Adam's side, and they dwelt together in paradise before the sin.
This year marks the beginning of the count of years in Jewish tradition.
