**Adam HaRishon** died in Year 930, fifty-six years after Lamech, 243 years after Methuselah. In Sefer HaYashar, 243 years into the reign of Enoch. Seth and his sons, Enoch, and Methuselah his son buried him with great honor like the burial of kings, in the cave that HaShem had spoken to him about. All mankind mourned and wept. [Some say the Holy One, Blessed be He, buried him (Tziuni, Parashat Chayei Sarah).

In Sefer Ha'Arukh, Enoch buried him and lived after him 28 years. In Yalkut Bereishit section 42, it says 58 years. In Yuchsin, Seder HaDorot, and Rashbam chapter 1 (121 b), it says 56 years, which is an error; it should be 57 years. Also that Enoch buried Adam and also that Seth buried him, which is an error (see Year 1058)].

Two days' journey from Hebron to the east is the cave of Adam HaRishon [(Gedi)].
