[He composed Sefer Be'er Sheva, like Tosafot on Horayot, Temid, Keritot, Sotah, Chullin, and some of the tractate of Chulin, and responsa, printed in the year 5374. And Sefer Tzedah LaDerekh on Rashi 5387, and Sefer Be'er Mayim Chaim, brought in Betzalel, Parshat Vaetchanan and Parshat Vayeilech, and it is on the laws.]

These are the geonim who lived in his days: The Gaon Rabbi Aharon ben Chaim [author of Korban Aharon agreed with his book.] And the Gaon Rabbi Gavriel. The Gaon Rabbi Chaim the doctor. The Gaon Rabbi Yosef Mitz. The Gaon Rabbi Yaakov ben Rabbi Chaim, son-in-law of the pious Gaon Rabbi Avraham Philip, head of the rabbinical court in Safed.
The Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak, presiding judge. The Gaon Rabbi Levi of Prague. The Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Begai. And the Gaon Rabbi Yissachar, head of the rabbinical court in the holy community of Worms [who saw him in the holy community of Neustadt near Nuremberg.
And he wrote:] 'I heard from my teacher the great kabbalist Rabbi Yisrael Saruk, student of Rabbi Yitzchak Luria of blessed memory, the secret of faces and backs.' The Gaon, the great luminary of the exile, Rabbi Levi Sarval, head of the rabbinical court in the holy community of Vinciya [agreed with his book in the year 5372.] Rabbi Mesaud Azulai. The Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Yafe [author of the Levushim.] The Gaon Rabbi Moshe Blantei [agreed with his book, and Selima Orna agreed with his book.] Rabbi Ezra of Fiano from the holy community of Mantua. [He wrote in responsum 67: two, and he responded to me, meaning the Gaon Rabbi Falk, presiding judge.
And in responsum 69: two, and he praised my words and said 'you deduced well and intended well.' And in printed 2 he said 'I said this matter before my teacher the great Rabbi Cohen the Gaon Rabbi Flak, presiding judge, and my words were good in his eyes and he responded to me that this is an important and true deduction.' And he wrote according to what Maharshal wrote in his novellae on the Tur section 89, and according to what Maharshal ruled in Yesh Shayachut at the end of Gittin, and so our master Baruch wrote in the Sefer HaChochmah.]
