Rav Malka [(and in Yuchsin in the order of tradition from the Rama"n, Rav Malkiya)] bar Rav Acha became head of the yeshiva in Pumbedita in year 4530 and ruled for three years [(see above year 4508). Rash"b wrote that he signed after Rav Netura'i the Exilarch ben Zevina'i in the dispute over Zakkai bar Mar Achuna'i. The Exilarch stood thus for several years, and both yeshivot gathered with Zakkai the Exilarch and dismissed Netura'i.

Rav Malka departed to the Garden of Eden and Rav Netura'i went to the west. And afterwards his grandfather Mar Rav Rabba ruled, etc.].
