**In the 3rd year** of his reign [(which was year 3395)] he made a feast.

**Vashti** [was reincarnated in that red heifer that a certain chasid sold, and it did not want to plow on Shabbat. This was Vashti who wanted the daughters of Israel to work on Shabbat, and that chasid was selling it, and it whispered in her ear like Eliyahu whispered to the 42 elders, and that convert who converted because of this was the reincarnation of Vashti, for through this merit she became worthy of being a convert, and thus the heifer whispered that she should not plow on Shabbat which was the opposite of her desire when she was Vashti.

And Vashti was the daughter of Belshazzar [(see above year 3389)], and she had a tail [(according to Megillah 12b)]. In the Megillah it says that Achashverosh and Vashti were both servants of Belshazzar, and she was Belshazzar's daughter, and he elevated her and made her queen over all women, and she used to bring Jewish daughters and make them work on Shabbat and strip them naked].
