Eliyahu the prophet received from Achiyah HaShiloni close to the end of Shlomo's reign. He received the letter Chet as a memorial to circumcision which was given to Chet, and he is mentioned there [(Yuchsin)]. And he was a Kohen [(chapter "HaMekabel") and the Tosafot there wrote that some say he was from Gad, and proof is that he was from the inhabitants of Gilead, which is the territory of Gad. And some say his father was from Binyamin and his mother from the tribe of Gad, and the Tzelafchad taught him from the tribe of Binyamin and the members of the Chamber of Hewn Stone, and he was a Jerusalemite (Yuchsin in Seder HaDorot).
And some say he was Pinchas (Ralbag) and in Pirkei Nun it appears that he is not Pinchas (see there)]. And he raised Azaryah son of Oded and Chananyah the seer and Yehu his son [(see above, year 3092)], and Ovadyah and Yechezkel son of Zechariyah [(and in Seder HaKabbalah and Tzemach David it is Yechieil 60, see above, year 22)] and Michayahu son of Yimlah—all were prophets. And Yehoram was Kohen Gadol, and after him Yehoyada.
And they received from Achiyah in the year 2962. He received tradition five from prophets and 18 from those at Sinai according to Abarbanel [(Tzemach David)].
