And Moses was 18 years old when he desired to see his father and his mother, _and he saw an Egyptian man striking a Hebrew man of his brothers_ (Exodus 2:11; see Rabbenu Bachya on Parashat Shemot — Moses was not yet 13 years old when he struck the Egyptian). Read, "of his brothers," since the Egyptian was Cain and Moses was Abel — hence the Egyptian was Moses' brother (Nof Etz HaChaim); the Egyptian was the spirit of Cain (see Kavannot HaAri 46b).
Shlomit, daughter of Dibri, the wife of the man struck, and her daughter were unfaithful women. As Datan had sexual intercourse with one of them and Abiram with the other. But they were repaired through the cows of the Philistines (I Samuel 6:12), _The cows went straight_ (Gan Naul). And Pharaoh sought to kill Moses, but an angel of the Lord grabbed Moses's right arm and took him out from Egypt and placed him 40 days [journey] from the border of Egypt (Sefer HaYashar).
