Haran was 42 years old when he fathered Sarai, that was the year 1958, which is 12 years of Abraham [(Sefer HaYashar and in Parshat Bereishit Sotah (69, 2) Haran fathered Sarah at age 8)]. Sarai was Yiskah and lived 127 years [(see year 2085). And in whose reincarnation was she (Agan Sahar 1140). The Frenchwoman's secret is Sarah [(see year 67)].
Year 1958 of the Jewish calendar.
In Ezekiel beginning of chapter 16: "Your father was the Amorite and your mother a Hittite." Rashi in Sanhedrin (44, 2) explains that Terach and his fathers were from Canaan etc. See Ralbag Parshat Chayei Sarah what he says about this, that Sarah was from the family of the children of Heth etc. But God forbid that a holy mouth would say this thing - "Amorite and Hittite" - from the children of Ham son of Noah, and Terach and his fathers were from Shem son of Noah.
Rashi in Ezekiel explains there that your father and mother - Abraham and Sarah - were great, and the children of Heth gave her a burial place, etc. Radak explains: "Your origin from the land of the Canaanite" - you are similar in your deeds to the culture of the land of Canaan, as if you were born and dwelt there, and as if your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite, that you acted like them, etc.
And in the Targum Yerushalmi: "Your births were in the land of Canaan, but on Abraham your father," etc. And by merit of your fathers I am granting from your ancients, thus says the Amorite, and from your creators thus says the Hittite, etc. See in Bechaye end of Parshat Noach that Abraham's native land was not Ur Kasdim, for if his ancestors lived beyond the river as they said "Beyond the river your fathers dwelt from of old" (Joshua 24:2), and the word "from of old" indicates idolatry.
Therefore Abraham the Hebrew is called (Genesis 14:13) and not Abraham the Chaldean. It is evidence for the matter that Nachor was in Haran, and if Terach's place was Ur Kasdim in the land of Shinar, and Scripture tells that when he left Ur Kasdim he took only Abraham his son and Lot son of Haran his grandson and Sarai his daughter-in-law.
Thus Nachor remained in the land of Kasdim. But in truth his native land was the land of Aram beyond the river. So we find in the Gemara that Abraham was hidden in Kutah, and Kutah is not in the land of Kasdim but was beyond the river. Know that Terach fathered his older sons Abraham and Nachor beyond the river in the land of his fathers, and he went with Abraham to the land of Kasdim and there his youngest son Haran was born, and Nachor his son remained beyond the river in that city.
This is the meaning of "in the land of his birth, in Ur Kasdim" - the word "his birth" refers to Haran, for it was the land of Haran's birth alone. The Rambam wrote in the Moreh Nevuchim that Abraham was born in Kutah and disputed the belief that they worshipped the sun, and they put him in prison, and he was there many years. The king feared lest he turn people away from his faith and exiled him to the edge of the land of Canaan, etc.
In his days Abraham and his mother and his nursemaid left the cave when the king had forgotten, and he went to Noah and Shem his son to learn the ways of Hashem. No one knew Abraham, and Abraham served there many days and was in their house for 39 years [(until the year 1997)]. Abraham knew Hashem from age 3 and went in the ways of Hashem as Noah and Shem taught him. All the people of the earth sinned greatly against Hashem and served other gods, etc.
The king and Terach and all his house were the first of all idol worshippers of wood and stone, and Terach had 12 gods of wood and stone for the month, and he would offer each month a meal offering and libations, etc. No one was found who knew Hashem except Noah and his house, etc. Hashem gave Abraham a hearing heart and understanding, etc. He saw the sun and said it is god, and worshipped the sun and prayed to it.
In the evening the sun set, and Abraham said in his heart: "But now this is not god," etc. He saw the moon, etc. [(Sefer HaYashar)].
At age [] [3 years Abraham recognized his Creator (as it is in Yoma, Nedarim, Bereishit Rabbah, Vayigash, and Midrash Chazit. But in Parshat Toldot and Midrash Chazit it says at age 48 he recognized). The Rambam (chapter 1 of Laws of Idolatry) wrote age 40, and the Raavad responded that there is an Aggadah that at age 3 he recognized his Creator (Nedarim end of chapter 2) and the Yuchsin [at Abraham] and so in Kesef Mishneh writes that he began at age 3 and was complete without knowledge when he saw the Dispersion at age 48.
At age 52 he began to teach the public Torah, for he was born 52 years before the beginning of the 2000 years of Torah. In my opinion, at age 48 he recognized because that was when the Dispersion occurred. In Shir HaKallah part 2, at age 51 he began to recognize his Creator and speak in the Holy Tongue and despise idols, and this was 12 years before Noah's death. At age 60 he began to teach the public about the unity of God and was imprisoned for 12 years - 3 in Kutah and 7 in Kardiu (as in the Hasidim chapter).
Some say the opposite. 2) He kept even eruv tavshilin (chapter 1 of HaMamona) and in Bereishit Rabbah Parshat Toldot he brought eruv chatzerot. See Yuchsin (there) why he mentioned this mitzvah. 3) In the first chapter of Avodah Zarah (14, 2) the Idolatry (explaining his tractate of Idolatry) was of 400 chapters. 4) Abraham was the first in the wisdom of astrology and taught it to the Egyptians, also the wisdom of mathematics (Shir HaKallah)].
