And Terach was 38 years old [(that was the year 1916)] and he fathered Haran and Nachor [(Sefer HaYashar, Parshat Noach)].
Thus Haran was older than Abraham by 32 years [(see year 1998)]. And so it is explained that Haran was 42 when Abraham was 10 years old [(see 1957)]. This is against the opinion of Chazal in Sanhedrin (69, 2) and Rabbah chapter 38 that Abraham was one year older than Nachor and two years older than Haran. Haran was from another mother than Abraham. [Haran became pregnant through Ahav son of Koliyah and Tzidkiyahu son of Maaseyah, and from this tradition comes Rabbi Nissan, the acronym HaRa"N [(see year 330)].
Adam HaRishon was reincarnated in them (Naava Chochmah). Aharon was a reincarnation of Haran (Agan Sahar 360)].
