**Shelach** was born in Year 1693, thirty-five years after Arpachshad. He lived 433 years [(the third generation)]. From him came the Sarmatians who are now called Tartars, and no other Sarmatia is found from the west side. At the end of these places there are high mountains, so high that they are called Monti Kaspi [(Seder HaDorot)].
