ר' ביסא

Rabbi Bisa, also known as Bisana, and he is the father of Rabbi Chama, the grandfather of Rabbi Oshaya the Great [(as mentioned)]. He was from the court of Rabbi, along with Rabbi Yishmael, son of Rabbi Yosi. They asked one halacha for the three of them, and he ruled in favor of his grandson, and they are referred to as the "threefold cord" in Parashat Chayei Sarah [(Nedavim 59a)].
