ר' אמי

Rabbi Ami's mother sent him coins from the broken king to distribute to the poor, but he did not accept them. She then sent them to Rava, and he accepted them. This is found in the first chapter of Bava Batra [(10b) certainly this is not Rabbi Ami, a student of Rabbi Yochanan as mentioned above].
