Ahavah, the son of Rabbi Zeira [end of Rosh HaShanah (29a), Nedarim (32a)], and he was in Kesar. Rabbi Zeira said, "Ahavah, the son of [Rosh HaShanah (30b)]. Rava said because it was taught to Ahavah by Rabbi Zeira, 'Kifi' is mentioned in Eruvin (26b), and in Rabbah, 'How has HaShem done that which He has devised' in Rabbi Zeira. And in Tanchuma, Parashat Noach, it is stated 'the brother of Rabbi Zeira,' and so it is in Chazal regarding the verse 'The vineyard was of Shlomo,' and in Bereishit Rabbah, chapter 4, and in Kohelet, in the chapter 'He has made everything beautiful in its time,' and in the verse 'I returned and saw under the sun,' Rabbi Achavah, son of Rabbi Zeira, and in Lech Lecha, chapter 39, Rabbi Achavah in the name of Rabbi Zeira, T"z.
And at the beginning of Challah, Rabbi Mana said, 'I went to Kesar and heard Rabbi Achavah in the name of Rabbi Zeira, T"z,' and it should be in the name of Rabbi Zeira. And the same matter is found in the Jerusalem Talmud, chapter Kol Sha'ah in Rabbi Zeira, and in Sadeh Yehoshua in the table of errors, at the beginning of Challah it is written that it should be Rabbi Achah, son of Rabbi Zeira, for we find in the Babylonian Talmud Rabbi Achah, son of Rabbi Zeira.
And I have not found anything except Ahavah, son of Zeira or Ze'ira.
