ר' אבא בר אחא

Rabbi Abba bar Acha [(Rab Acha, his son, as mentioned)] said: Rabbi Ilai said in the name of Rabbi, explained Rashi, that he is not Rabbi Abba bar Acha, the father of Rabbi Chiya the Great. In the chapter "Where They Customarily Behave" [(I did not know why he brought the chapter "Where They Customarily Behave")] that he would kiss the head of Acco [(Ketubot 112a)]. And he was very humble [(more than his father, as mentioned)] and they would appoint his father to be the head of the Yeshiva, but he did not want because Rabbi Eliezer of Acco had many debts to him, and they would make him the head of the Yeshiva in order to enrich him so that they would give him gifts.
