רב זביד

Rab Zavid [in the name of Abaye, Berakhot (46b) and said to Abaye, Sotah (32b). Amimar in his name. The daughter-in-law of Rab Zavid, Imreda, sat with Amimar and Mar Zutra and Rav Ashi, etc. Rab Gamda said to him that Rab Zavid was a great man and they flattered him, Ketubot (63b).

Rabbi Zeira said in the name of Rab Zavid, Avodah Zarah (14a). And the author of She'erit Yosef counts him among the students of Rab; it seems to me that he came from Bava Kamma (84a). Rab Zavid said in the name of Rab and it is a transcription error, and it should be in the name of Rabba, and likewise that matter (Perek 5a) in the name of Rabba, and Bava Batra (99b) and Shabbat (63a) and Rosh Hashanah (6a) and Sukkah (44a) and Bava Kamma (5a, 21b, 118b) in all places in the name of Rabba. (And it needs investigation because Rabbi Zeira was in the days of Rav Asi and Rabbi Zeira said in his name, and this is not a wonder because Rab Zavid said in the name of Rabba and Rabbi Zeira called Rabba master)]: [Notes: Zavid, [Yevamot (96a) Avodah Zarah (33b) Rab Zavid bar Ushai, and so it is in the Book of Genealogies and in Shas, it is a transcription error that in Bava Metzia (92b) it is RZ in the house of Rabbi Ushai, and likewise in Avodah Zarah (6b, 56a) it is taught Rab Zavid in the house of Rabbi Ushai, Rashi explains in the Mishnah of Rabbi Ushai, and in Bava Batra (95a) Rab Zavid of the house of Rab Ushai should be in the house and in Shas it is a transcription error.

Likewise in the Asheri there in Rabbi Ushai, and in Shevuot (47a) and likewise it is taught Rab Zavid in Ushai, or it is taught Rab Zavid said Rab Ushai and it needs investigation, and in Shas, Rabbi Arza said Rabbi Ushai]:]
