Year 5421: In the month of Elul, people from the holy community of Worms took stones from the cemetery. Also in the month of Tammuz 5422, they took the rest and found a stone on which was carved 'Each man dies for his own sin,' for in the earlier years the law was there for capital cases, and buried there was a man who was sentenced to death.
