He brought to print Sefer Yesod Shirim or Tapuchei Zahav on Ruth, 5320]. Rabbi Yaakov of Worms was head of the rabbinic court in all the diaspora of Israel in Ashkenaz. He was gathered to his people this year, and he was the uncle of the father of four brothers who were gaonim of the world and heads of yeshivot: Moharrar Chayyim of Friedberg, Moharrar Livov, Rabbi Sinai, and Rabbi Shimshon [(Tzedah LaDerech)].
