And Shevet Yehudah says this was in the year 5172 [(Shomer HaDat, section 110, section 2).] In the year 5172 there was there a certain priest named Prabizianti who converted the Jewish faith—more than 200,000 Jews—through King Don Firmado, grandson of Firmando king of Aragon who expelled all Jews from Castile in the year 5252 [(see there).] And at the time of destruction there was a great storm on sea and on land and the ships and all the trees of the field were broken, and also pestilence and a great plague.
