The great Rabbi over all of Castile, Don Meir Alguadesh, in the year 5165 translated the book of Middot from Aristotle [(on good character traits and ethics)] to the holy language [and it is manuscript. And similarly he translated from the proverbs of Aristotle words of proverbs and ethics to guard from women. And poems in verses, manuscript.]. And he was the physician of the King of Castile, Alguadex bar Alvarish.

And he was a student of Rabbi Yehudah son of the Rosh, [(Yuchsin in the generations of the Acharonim).] And he was killed in the year 5215 [(see there)]:
