Rav Yeshaya HaLevi [(bar Mar Avenom from Kluwadhi, which is near Baghdad, in Yuchsin in the letter of Rash"b)] was head of the yeshiva in Pumbedita from year 4555 for three years [(Tzemach David). And in Shada"k page 36b and 58b and 110b it is written that after Rav Menashe, bar Ava ruled. Surely his intention was Rav Yeshaya who was bar Mar Ava].
