Rav Zevid became head in Pumbedita in the year 4132, and he reigned for 8 years and died in 4140 [(Tzemach David), see above 4127. And Rashbag wrote in Yuchsin that he died in 696 (and so it says in Sefer HaKeritot), i.e., according to the Seleucid era, which is the year 4145.] In the same year Rav Pappa died [(see above 4112)] and Rav Chama died [(see above 4117)].
