Yechezkel son of Buzi the Kohen prophesied in the fifth year of the exile of Jehoiachin, as written at the beginning of Yechezkel. This was Year 3332 [(see Radak beginning of Yechezkel)], and it was year 30 of the last Jubilee. [(And in Shir HaShirim chapter 69, Yechezkel prophesied from year 5 until the Destruction, and the exile of Jehoiachin was 27 years)]. And the Abarbanel included Yechezkel among the receivers from the prophets and omitted Baruch son of Neriah who was not a prophet [(and the Rambam wrote that Baruch son of Neriah received from Yirmiyahu and also from him, and Ezra received from Baruch, Bereishit)].
And he wrote that Baruch son of Neriah and Yehotzadak father of Ezra were the 22nd descendants [(Tisha B'Av and Tzeda LaDerech: brother of Ezra, for Ezra's father was Seraiah, Ezra 7)], and that they received from Yirmiyahu, and according to his opinion this was reception number 12 to the prophets. And so concludes our conclusion, and he did not count Chaggai, Zechariah, and Malachi among the prophets but included them with the Great Assembly, even though they said in Avot DeRabbi Natan that the men of the Great Assembly received from Chaggai, etc.
This is to say that from one aspect they were among the prophets and from another aspect they were among the men of the Great Assembly [(Tzeda LaDerech) see Year 3316 that he was in prison for five years and at age 30 wrote his book, and see there what is written. Yechezkel was from the root of Cain, and even though he was from the root of Cain, he was from the power of the drop of emission that Cain defiled, which was refined from the impurity without blemish, therefore he was called "son of man" (the Kavvanot, Likutei Trei Asar).
And he wore linen garments to rectify the blemish of Cain (there in Shoftim), meaning that Cain's offering was flax. And Yechezkel's wife was the extra twin of Abel (there)].
