**In year** 14 of Chizkiyahu, which is year 212, Sancherev came against the cities of Yehudah and captured them [(Melachim II 18)]. In that year an angel of HaShem went out and struck the camp of Ashur, 185,000 [(there chapter 19)] [(Tzeda). In Midrash Chazit in the chapter "I came to my garden," the whole thing is explained:] Pharaoh king of Egypt and Tirhakah king of Cush came to help Chizkiyahu, and Sancherev overcame them and tied them up.

When Chizkiyahu went out in the morning outside the city, he released them and they went away and told of this miracle in their kingdoms [(Sha'ar HaDorot). Our Sages said in chapter Chelek that among the sons of Sancherev's children, many learned Torah, and from them came Shemayah and Avtalyon].

**Four exiles** within 28 years: The first exile in year 3187, the second in year 3195, and from there 8 years to the siege of Shomron in year 202, the 5th in year 205 when it was conquered, and 8 years until year 212 [(Seder Olam and Yalkut Melachim II section 18, see year 187)]. In those days Chizkiyahu became ill, and because of his prayer 15 years were added to him [(there section 20)]. It was the 14th year of his reign, and on the 2nd day of his illness was the downfall of Sancherev [(Seder Olam chapter 22)] Tzeda.

In Tanchuma, the 70th: Noach did not burn his clothes because they were from the time his father covered his father's nakedness, and according to Rashi in Yeshayahu. But Bechaye in Parshat Shemini writes that Sancherev's army was from the descendants of Yefet who had the merit of Yefet who covered his father's nakedness.
