**Yarov'am** son of Yoash became king over Yisrael in year 3114 and 3115, and he reigned 41 years in Shomron. The first year, part of it was the 14th of Amatzyahu and part of it the 15th of Amatzyahu [(Tzeda)].
Year 3114 of the Jewish calendar.
**Uziyahu** who in the book of Melachim is called Azaryah, son of Amatzyahu, became king of Yehudah at age 16, reigning 52 years from 3115 until 3167. He began to reign during his father's lifetime 15 years earlier, counting from year 3115 [(see year 129)] (section 7 and Radak Melachim II section 14 in the name of Rashi). When he entered to offer incense, leprosy broke out on his forehead for 25 years [(Tosefta).
See Yuchsin article 1 time 1 in the 52nd year of his reign and the leprosy broke out, etc. And this is the meaning: 25 years he was leprous and 52 were the days of his reign, making 27 to his reign when he was afflicted with leprosy, and so forth. See in Yuchsin a great secret: when an earthquake comes to the world, they read chapter Vayanas 4 times and the ships of nations tremble and call out one to another saying "And the earthquake shall be calmed."].
Yoel was High Priest. Hoshea, Yeshayahu, Amos, Azariah, and Michah the Morashti were prophets [(Sha'ar HaDorot 18:2)]. Near the monument of Avshalom is buried King Uziyahu [(Gedolei Yisrael)]. When leaving from Sha'ar Yehoshafat in Yerushalayim toward the Desert of the Nations, there is the monument of Avshalom and the grave of Uziyahu [(Sefer Masa'ot Binyamin).
Uziyahu who wanted to offer incense and was afflicted with leprosy was a reincarnation of Uzza who stretched forth his hand to the Ark of HaShem, and his soul knew that originally he was a priest and descended after the priesthood and was afflicted with this (Chasal Ma'ayan 5:25), and Adam's sin was not rectified; he returned to his original corruption just as he stretched forth his hand to what he was not worthy of, so too a second time (Sefer Kavanot)].
