**Amos** of the tribe of Asher prophesied in year 3110 in the days of Uziyahu. In his days the High Priest was Yoel, and after him Uriah. He received from Hoshea. He received 7 prophets and thus concludes [(according to Abarbanel)] [(Tzeda) and in Yuchsin in Seder HaDorot he is the 12th receiver.

Sha'ar HaDorot 69:2 writes: Uziyahu king of Yehudah killed Amos with an iron stake that he placed in his forehead].
