**Yehoachaz** son of Yehu became king over Yisrael in year 3083, the 22nd year of Yoash, and he reigned from year 83 for 17 years [(Melachim II 12) and in Sha'ar HaDorot there's a typographical error. See Tzeda who writes that even though the 22nd year of Yoash couldn't be until year 85, the explanation is that the first year of Yehoachaz, part of it was the 22nd of Yoash and part was his 23rd year, and it appears that the 17 years he reigned were not complete, only 15, and to Lamed-Zayin there are 37 complete from year 61 from the beginning of Yoash's reign, and with this many difficulties are resolved (see year 68)].
