**Eliyahu** was taken up and Elisha received from him in the year 3047 [(see year 3042)].

**Yehoshafat** (Jehoshaphat) died in the year 3047.

**Yehoram** (Joram) son of Yehoshafat became king over Yehudah at age 32 and reigned for 8 years [(Melachim II 8)] from the year 3047. And Scripture says that it was the fifth year of Yoram king of Yisrael, meaning from the 18th year of Yehoshafat which was year 3042, and all the calculations come out correct. (And what is written in Melachim II 8, in the fifth year of Yoram son of Achav king of Yisrael while Yehoshafat was king of Yehudah, the Radak and Rashi already resolved this according to Seder Olam that in the fifth year it was decreed upon Yehoshafat to be killed at Ramot Gilad, but it was suspended for him because he cried out for 7 years, and the Ralbag in chapter 2 and chapter 8 explained that after Yehoshafat allied with the king of Yisrael, Yehoshafat was sharing with him in the leadership of the kingdom of Yisrael).

His wife was Atalyah daughter of Achav, and he did evil [(Tzeda)] and initially he was righteous (Horiyot 10 section 2). Yehoyada was the High Priest, Eliyahu the prophet, Zechariah the High Priest and prophet whom Yoash killed in the Temple received from his father Yehoyada in the year 3047 [(see Yuchsin in Seder HaDorot according to others, see year 67)].
