Asa died in the year 3024.

Yehoshafat son of Asa, king of Yehuda, reigned at the age of 35 in the year 3024, and he did what was right in the eyes of HaShem [(Melachim 1 22)]. And he reigned for 25 years, but only 22 are counted because Yehoram his son reigned for 3 years during his lifetime [(Rashi, Melachim 2 8:16)]. And these are included with the 8 years that Yehoram reigned after him, and the years of Yehoshafat's reign ended in the year 47.

And the verse says that Yehoshafat reigned in the 4th year of Achav, and these were cut-short years, for Achav reigned in the 38th year of Asa, and Asa only reigned afterwards for 3 years because his days of reign were 41 years [(Tzemach David), and see the end of Yuchsin and in Rashi and Radak (Melachim 2 8 and in Rashi Melachim 1 22:51)]. Yehoachaz was Kohen Gadol, and Yehu son of Chanani and Ovadyah, Michayahu son of Yimlah and Yechezkel son of Zechariyah of the sons of Asaf [(and in Seder HaKabbalah, chapter 17b, and Seder Olam 67, son of Ovadyah, 60)] and Elazar son of Dodo were prophets.
