Achav son of Omri became king in the year 3021, the 38th year of Asa king of Yehuda, and he took Izevel daughter of the king of Tzidon as a wife and did evil more than all who were before him [(Melachim 1 16)]. And he reigned for 22 years [(and in Seder HaKabbalah, chapter 18b, it says 21)]. And he was killed in Ramot Gilead in battle [(Tzemach David)]. And he had 70 sons in Shomron [(Melachim 2 10)] and 70 sons in Yizre'el [(Midrash Kohelet chapter 6, on the verse "If a man begets a hundred")].
Achav was Dodo the Kemetzli, a brother of the scribe, and Eliyahu said to him "is that son of yours still alive? You are standing in the breach of two authorities," and then he pursued Eliyahu, and when they caught him Eliyahu killed him (Bereishit Nun). And he established in two places—Rav Acha in one place (and I am uncertain whether Rav Achai in Rav is this one or a different one—many Rav Achai there are, see above, chapter 252-257) and Rav Achai of Shavcha—in both places he established the letters Alef-Chet from Achav and the letters Alef-Bet he established in Rabbi Avraham Alini, for with the letters Alef-Bet of Avraham who was the soul of Achav (at the end of the book).
Achav is from the root of Nadav and Avihu (see above, year 2470). The wife of Korach was reincarnated as Izevel. The son of Izevel was the reincarnation of Kozbi who pursued Eliyahu who is Pinchas for what he did (Bereishit Nun)].
